Lice can live in curly and thick hair. Detection and removal can take longer — detangle gently, use plenty of conditioner, and work in small sections. Silicone- or oil-based products and wet combing work for all hair types.
Can curly hair get head lice?
Yes. Lice live on the scalp and feed on blood. Hair texture doesn't matter. Curly and thick hair can make combing more time-consuming, but the same treatment principles apply.
More difficult to get rid of head lice?
