What are super lice?
Super lice are the same species as normal head lice; they've simply evolved resistance to certain insecticides. They're not bigger, faster, or harder to see — they're just unaffected by permethrin and similar products.
Do they look different to lice?
No. They look identical. The difference is only in how they respond to chemical treatments. Physical methods — suffocation with silicone or oil, or removal with a fine comb — work regardless of resistance.
